I Just Got Hit was formed in 2007 to protect and serve the community. David Godsey wanted to run a Texas personal injury law firm that put clients first. All of our attorneys and legal professionals put their skills, knowledge and experience to work for our clients every day. David’s number one goal is always to improve the lives of the people we serve.

David Godsey
Before he became an attorney, David Godsey worked for a big insurance company. As a claims manager, he taught adjusters to talk injury victims into taking less than they deserved. That experience showed him how the deck was stacked against ordinary people who needed help. He didn’t like the way the insurance company and many other corporations put money before people. He decided to become an attorney and fight for the other side. His personal experience with insurance company tactics helps him serve injury victims in search of justice.
